Gerry Sexton is Chief Explorer at GrowthWorks Inc. Gerry, an M.D., draws on more than 15 years with GrowthWorks working on individual and organizational development issues with companies of all sizes and in a wide array of industries throughout the US, as well as in Brazil, Italy, France, the U.K., Germany, The Netherlands, Singapore, Australia and Mexico. Gerry earned his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas graduating with honors. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Studies from the University of North Dakota, graduating Summa Cum Laude while also attaining a commercial pilot’s license.

He and his partner, Chief Storyteller Brian McDermott, bring a unique mix of experience to their work as facilitators, trainers, consultants, and coaches. They are the authors of Leading Innovation: Creating Workplaces Where People Excel So Organizations Thrive, a book Ken Blanchard endorsed as “brilliant work.”
