Chan has been enabling clients to monetize their database and CRM assets for more than 30 years by providing actionable insights and pragmatic solutions. In various database marketing positions with firms such as Dun & Bradstreet, RR Donnelley, AC Nielsen, General Mills, Yankelovich, VNU/Claritas, and GfK/Custom Research Inc, Chan has served B2B and B2C marketers across the American business spectrum. Even in senior management positions, he has maintained “hands on” experience and close involvement with the ever evolving marketing and information technology and analytic tool sets.
Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a lifelong member of the LSU Tiger Nation, Chan is a graduate of MIT, where he found his calling in data driven marketing doing graduate work at its Sloan School of Management. Chan and his wife Jean and Moose, their chocolate Lab, reside in Burtrum, Minnesota and have three grown daughters and one apple-of-their-eye grand daughter. In his spare time, Chan enjoys the pursuit of piscatorial pleasures and participation in his local church and the county political party.
